About Cognizant
Cognizant is a global IT services company with a large presence in India. It recruits freshers through campus drives and its GenC programmes.
How Cognizant usually hires freshers
- 1
Aptitude test
Commonly covers quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and verbal ability.
- 2
Technical and coding assessment
Some programmes include technical multiple-choice questions and a coding section.
- 3
Interview
Technical and HR conversation about your projects, fundamentals and communication.
This is a typical outline, not an official one. Rounds, sections and timings change by year, role and campus. Confirm with the official notification or your placement cell.
Tips for the Cognizant test
- Attempt every section: an unattempted section can hurt more than a few wrong answers.
- Revise data structures, SQL and one programming language thoroughly.
- Practise explaining your approach out loud, not only writing code.
- Check the official programme page for the current format.
Cognizant practice: common questions
Is this the real Cognizant exam?
No. These are practice tests written in the style of the Cognizant recruitment process. Real papers, sections and timings change from year to year and by role, so always check the official notification or your placement cell.
Is it free?
Most tests are free. Create a free JusPrep account, take the test, and see your score and answers straight away. Some longer mocks are premium.
How should I use these tests?
Start with a skill practice set to find weak topics, then take a full mock under a timer. Review every wrong answer before attempting the next one.
