The TCS NQT foundation section is commonly described as numerical ability, verbal ability and reasoning ability, taken online under a timer.

Some roles add an advanced aptitude section and programming questions. What applies to you depends on the role you apply for.

Tips for the TCS test
- Practise numerical and reasoning questions against a clock; speed matters as much as accuracy.
- Revise percentages, time and work, ratios, number series and arrangements first.
- Prepare one language well enough to explain any line of your own project code.
