What is monitored, what counts as a violation and what happens when the limit is reached.

Security is chosen per test, in the first step of Advanced setup. It is visible to the candidate, and its evidence belongs to the attempt.
| Test category | What it gives you | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | A standard quiz with no proctoring (choice, fill-in-the-blank and true/false questions) | Practice tests, assignments, low-stakes evaluation |
| Advanced | Supports coding questions, with a self-view camera mirror; a browser lock prevents tab switching. No AI analysis runs | Timed tests where a lock is enough |
| AI Proctored | Real-time AI monitoring of face, gaze and audio | High-stakes exams |
| Signal | Examples |
|---|---|
| Camera and microphone | Periodic snapshots; audio incidents |
| Browser focus | Tab and window switches |
| Face analysis | Look-aways, head turns, multiple people |
| Objects | A phone in view |
- A violation limit automatically submits the attempt once reached.
- Each attempt carries a validity flag and reason that staff can review.
- The timer is kept on the server and a person can have one open attempt.
