JusPrep has eight base roles. Within a workspace you can rename them and change what each may do. Open Roles & access to see the permission list for each role.
| Base role | Typical authority |
|---|---|
| Administrator | Runs the workspace: people, structure, settings, credits and billing |
| Manager | Delegated staff authority — people, announcements, jobs, results |
| Instructor | Faculty, teacher or trainer: content, attendance, grading |
| Learner | Student or employee: learns, tests, earns certificates |
| Guardian | Parent view of one's own child only |
| Candidate | Invited test-taker, confined to one assessment |
Changes to roles and permissions are written to the audit trail.
