Your first day as a client administrator

A practical order of work to get a new workspace from empty to running exams.

For: Administrator Reviewed 15 October 2026

When your workspace is created, you receive an invitation. Work through these steps in order; each one links to a full guide.

  1. 1

    Sign in and review Settings

Confirm your institution name, branding and which modules are on. Modules are switched on by the JusPrep team; you can see their status under Settings → Modules.

  2. 2

    Build your structure

Create programs, classes, sections, departments or batches. See Build your structure.

  3. 3

    Add your people

Add staff first, then learners — one by one or by import. See Add people and Bulk import.

  4. 4

    Review roles and access

Check what each role may do under Roles & access. See Roles and permissions.

  5. 5

Create a first course or test

Publish something small to a pilot group and walk through it as a learner would.

  6. 6

    Check credits

If your workspace bills per attempt, confirm your balance under Credits & billing before a live exam. See Credits.
